Mosher's Sandcastle is nestled among the dunes overlooking Kings Bay. Less than 50 feet from the water's edge, it promises fond memories to last a lifetime.

The pine floors, creaky wicker, family antiques and wood stove all combine to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Outside there are two decks, lawn furnishings, BBQ and the mile long, white sand Kingsburg Beach. Like many Nova Scotia beaches, it is seldom crowded.

Hirtles' Beach, the last photo on the right hand sidebar, is one minute away by car. As well, there are a couple of lovely walking routes that take a half hour or more - depending on your pace and how frequently you stop to enjoy the view. The government owned beach has a boardwalk as well as a fresh water lake adjacent to the ocean. At the end of the beach is a protected walking trail to Gaff Point.

The fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Town Lunenburg is but a 15-minute drive away.
